Local Mitigation Plan Guidance​

This manual is designed to assist subapplicants in applying for and managing a Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) grant award.  There exists a wealth of relevant documentation and forms from both FEMA and MEMA on the various HMA grants; however, the guidance provided here is a consolidation of those many FEMA and MEMA documents.  This manual consolidates the information most pertinent to the subapplicant in a useable guide aimed at the processes necessary for the subapplicant to submit a successful application.  The manual also describes requirements for managing a project and submitting reports required for reimbursement.
