Welcome to the Archive!

In our role as a coordinator
of everything from federal and state funding, to statewide emergency management training, to realtime disaster response, and more, MDEM publishes a significant amount of documents. Reflecting our varied roles, these documents can range from the smallest of meeting minutes to extremely long, comprehensive response plans.

To help Marylanders more easily navigate that quantity, we've created this specialized home for storing and organizing each item we publish. You'll find them organized by categories below. Choosing a category will take you to a dedicated space for its documents, divided by year.

We hope you enjoy browsing and learn something new!

Public Notices

From time to time, an MDEM program will be required to post a formal notice of an impending action (e.g., we are about to distribute funds through a FEMA program, etc.). Those notices can all be found here!

Plans

From anticipating future disasters to outlining how to spend grant funding fairly, making plans is one of MDEM's most critical jobs.

In this section, you'll find our full database of plans new and old, organized by both the type of plan they are and the date they were enacted.

Tools, Guides, and Resources

As a national leader in emergency management, MDEM always looks to provide our partners and community with resources to help them stay as prepared as possible for emergencies and recover as soon as possible when disaster strikes. Over the years, we've produced all kinds of tools - from guides on planning inclusively to tips for sailing on a boat safely.

Some of these may also be linked to directly from one of our program pages, but in the database below, you'll find the entire list, organized by what topic the resource is about. We hope you find them helpful!
